Appraisers Alliance is an advocacy group for credentialed real estate appraisers. We’re pushing for fair, customary fees, for a licensed appraiser’s judgment in every lending decision, and for real benefits for our members.
What we stand for
Federal law already says appraisers must be paid a customary and reasonable fee. We’re demanding real, independent studies of what that fee is, so pay reflects the market and the work, not whatever is left after everyone else takes a cut.

Why appraisers matter
Automated models estimate value from data: past sales, tax records, listing information. That data can be thin, stale or wrong, and it can’t see what an appraiser sees on site.
